How to choose your size
Think about the most people you'll seat at once, then measure the space including room to get in and out. If you're between sizes, built-to-order means you don't have to compromise - we'll make it to the exact length you have.
Larger spaces and venues may want our large benches, built for big gardens, events and custom long runs.
Built to your measurements
Standard sizes are a starting point. Need a longer run for a venue, a taller bench, or a wheelchair gap? We build it. Custom sizes are available - just tell us your measurements and we'll quote accordingly.
Every bench is handmade to order from C24 construction-grade timber in our Chelmsford, Essex workshop, with a typical lead time of 7 working days.

4-seater
Compact & cosy
Perfect for small gardens, patios, and balconies. At around 1.2 m long, it seats four adults comfortably without dominating the space. Popular with couples and small families.
6-seater
The all-rounder
Our most popular size. At around 1.8 m, it seats six adults and fits most gardens, smaller pub plots, and school grounds. The go-to choice when you want a bench that handles everyday family meals and the occasional gathering.
8-seater
Built for a crowd

The 6-seater is the most popular, seating six adults at around 1.8 m while still fitting most gardens and smaller pub plots.
Allow about 60 cm of length per adult and leave at least 70 cm clear behind each seat for getting in and out. Measure the full footprint, not just the bench.
