A properly sized bench lets them climb on and off independently, sit at the right height to eat and play, and enjoy the garden alongside the grown-ups. A children's bench should be smooth to the touch, free of sharp edges, and stable. We sand and finish every surface with splinter-free routed edges and build a solid, low base that won't tip when a child climbs on the seat.
Every bench uses a non-toxic water-based stain - no Creosote, no Creocote, no solvent-based chemicals. Safe for children, safe for pets.
Splinter-free routed edges
Every edge is routed with a 6mm round-over and sanded to 120-grit. No rough edges, no splinters.
Non-toxic finish
Water-based, non-toxic stain only. No harsh chemicals, safe for children to touch and sit on.
